Tenant Advisory Group (‘TAG’) is the first commercial property consultancy of its kind in the UK.
Our sole focus is the business occupier. It is our job to ‘level the playing field’ with property owners and their agents by providing unrestricted access to the market. This allows us to leverage far greater concessions in lease renewal and relocation negotiations than a business owner could hope to achieve either by themselves or by employing a traditional adviser.
Our mission is simple, we want to help SME’s achieve better value from commercial property so they can increase profits and drive growth for the benefit of the wider economy. This makes us very different to most other property advisers who predominately represent landlords and developers which means they have a vested interest in rents and capital values rising.
We appreciate that owner managers would prefer to concentrate on their core business. But we also recognise that business owners are sceptical about property advisors and who can blame them when they appear to act mainly in the interests of landlords and developers. However, it is difficult to negotiate on equal terms unless you are fully engaged in the market and possess the necessary technical knowledge. By aligning our interests with the occupier we can achieve outstanding results for SME’s particularly, in lease renewal and relocation negotiations.
