The folk at the Icarus Partnership have identified a group of people who really do deserve all the help they can get in finding suitable employment – working closely with the Regular Forces Employment Agency they are focusing on the skills and experiences gained by soldiers during military service and identifying employers who will value the incredible benefits their organisation will gain by recruiting our returning heroes to their teams. Already a significant number have been placed in logistics, warehousing, supervisory and planning roles as well as the more obvious markets such as security. With financial support to encourage employers to recruit from our Armed Services, this is definitely a battle that is worth winning.
